Lektron Ceiling Panels and Fixtures
The Lektron series of flat ceiling panel lighting offers numerous advantages over conventional fluorescent products. Its low-profile allows installation in tight ceiling cavities and allows for shallower ceiling depths.
Energy efficiency of the flat panel series qualifies it for LEED standards and prepares it for the Energy Star program ahead of standards. These products are environmentally friendly with no gas or mercury; they require no special disposal or associated costs. The inherently long life of LED based lighting provides in excess of 50,000 hours before replacement is necessary, and saves on the costly maintenance that fluorescent products require every couple of years.
Installation is easy since these merely drop into a ceiling tile space. Electrical connections use conventional hook-up per NEC (National Electrical Code). Existing wiring is retained and reused when replacing fluorescent luminaires, usually on a one for one swap out.
Intelligent Lighting models are optionally available to fit into building automation systems with the DMX512 interface. Additionally an IR remote control system is optionally available for local control and override with a remote keypad. |
