LED Light Bulbs / LED
Light Bulb
LED light bulbs provide all of the advantages of neon without the
disadvantages. You can think of them as digital lighting, because that's what
they are. An LED light bulb has more in common with a computer chip than they do
with a neon tube or incandescent light bulb. LEDs can be used to create bright,
dynamic accent lighting that mimics, indeed surpasses, the look of neon; LEDs
can be used to effectively illuminate channel letters and box signs; LEDs can be
used to brightly illuminate retail petroleum and convenience store canopies.
An LED light bulb does all this and more while being inexpensive to implement
and service, they're safe and low voltage, they're the longest lasting light
source currently available. And they're green, very green. If you're looking for
ways your company can make a positive impact on the environment, replacing your
current neon or fluorescent lighting with LEDs is a great place to start. One
foot of LED light bulbs uses about 1/10 the energy as a foot of neon to provide
the same amount of light.
