LED Rope Lights / LED
Rope Light
There are a lot of recognized drawbacks to neon, but it stuck around simply
because there wasn't anything better. For example, it requires highly trained
technicians to build and install it. Neon requires expensive boom trucks, and
people trained to work with deadly, high-voltage transformers to service it. It
works, but it requires: Commitment. LED rope lights really change all of that.
They provide all of the advantages of neon without the disadvantages. You can
think of them as digital lighting, because that's what a LED rope light is. They
have more in common with a computer chip than they do with a neon tube or
incandescent light bulb. LEDs can be used to create bright, dynamic accent
lighting that mimics, indeed surpasses, the look of neon; LEDs can be used to
effectively illuminate channel letters and box signs; LEDs can be used to
brightly illuminate retail petroleum and convenience store canopies.
